General Campground Information

Firewood

The USDA recommends "Burn it where you buy it". We have local firewood bundles available at $5 per bundle plus tax delivered to your site.

Cabin Check-in and Check- out Times

Cabin check in time is 3:00 P.M.
Cabin check out time is 11:00 A.M.
A one night deposit is taken to secure your reservation. If you need to cancel, please call the office no later than 7 days prior to arrival and we will refund your deposit less the $10 cancellation fee.

Visitors

VISITORS: We love to share our camping experience, however due to the
limited capacity of our facilities and our wish to ensure campers can
enjoy them fully while they are here, we ask that you limit visitors. Visitors MUST check in at the office and should not park on sites. We ask that you please respect other campers.

Visitors Fees: $7 per day per person. Additional fees apply to overnight guests.

Late Arrivals

Please let us know if you will be arriving after 5 P.M. The office closes at 5 P.M and we will escort you to your site if you arrive by 5 P.M. Your packet with detailed instructions on how to get to your site will be available in the yellow night registration box on the front door of the store. See signs posted at campground. Call our after hours phone number (575-915-3666) if you have any questions or need assistance.

RV and Tent Site Check-in & Check-out Times

RV/Tent Site check in is 1:00 P.M.
RV/Tent Site check out is 12:00 P.M.
We take a one night deposit to secure your reservation. If you need to cancel, please call the office no later than 4 P.M., two (2) days before your arrival and we will refund your deposit minus the $10 cancellation fee.

Camp Store Hours

Our Camp Store is open daily from 9:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. (Mountain Time)
Early closures on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Years Day.

Speed Limits

Speed Limits are posted in the campground. Please observe them for the safety of children, pets and other guests.

Internet & WiFi

WiFi is available throughout the park. Ask for the code in the Store/ Office

Pet Policy

Pets are part of your family, for their safety, please keep them leashed and quiet at all times. We do have a doggie park for them to run around in. Please pick up after them for the health and cleanliness of the campground. Please do not leave them unattended in the park while you are gone. NO PETS IN THE PLAYGROUND OR BUILDING. No aggressive dogs allowed. There are certain breeds that have been identified by our major insurance provider as having a history of unfriendly and aggressive behavior to other dogs and to humans. These breeds are Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes, Rottweilers, and Dobermans. These breeds are not allowed in the park.
We encourage all dog owners to call in advance to inquire about any specific rules that might apply to their situation.

Swimming Pool (Seasonal)

Our pool is open late May (Memorial Day Weekend) to mid October, weather permitting. Please note there is no lifeguard on duty. Children under 16 must have an adult with them. See the posted rules in pool area or visit our front desk for more information. Swim diapers are available for purchase in the camp store.

Trash

Please keep your site neat and orderly. There are cans for trash throughout the park. Do not leave trash out on your site, critters will get into it.

Quiet Hours

10 PM- 7 AM Please allow other guests to get a good nights sleep.

Restrooms & Laundry

We appreciate the complements we receive on the cleanliness of our Restrooms and Laundry. Please do not wash dishes in sinks in Restrooms for health reasons. A sink is provided for this purpose. Quarters for the laundry can be obtained in the Store.  Laundry room is open 24 hours.

We love having groups!  We have a recreation room and patio available for use. Please call to discuss availability and how we can make your stay enjoyable.
